Once again the Oakleigh Motorcycle club produced a great event liked by all.
With the sun shining through after a wet week, the steep and rocky terrain was perfect for all classes.
The initial lap on some wet grassy sections took points away before a common line was relevant for most riders.
Dylan Rees held off Tim Coleman on a close finish after electing to do 4 laps like everyone else.
Zac Mularczyk edged out Brendon Johnson again as their duel continues in A grade
B grade was even closer with Brooke Lonie just pipped at the line by Tim Lewis by 1 point.
John Rees had a slight advantage over Phil Lewis with Ken Cook in 3rd.
It’s great to see the youngsters in C grade coming along with a few new names popping up into the sport.
And finally the sidecar team of Justin & Melissa Foot (the Footies) had a great ride to take home the 1st place trophy by a good margin from 2nd place getters of Milham and Coupland.
If the days riding wasn’t enough, it became a muddy affair just getting out of the long track with 4wdrives pulling many out.
Not to mention the 8 ton motorhome of Richard Midgley sliding sideways and bouncing around while being towed by a trusty Dmax ute.
Hopefully see you all at the next round at Mt Bolton on the 24th August.
