CLUB MEMBERSHIP & MA LICENSING
From 30th June `26, all OMCC riders are required to hold an MA license (competition or recreational) to ride on the club grounds.
We want you to enjoy the club, make full use of your membership and stay safe, so please follow the steps below to remain compliant.
When you login into Entryplace, you will be prompted to enter your details.
After hitting the “fix” button, you will be prompted to tick “rider” and then tick “I have a valid MA license”.
Once you`ve entered the above details, a drop down will appear, please enter your DOB and MA license number.
Once you`ve entered the above details your status will change to “verification pending” and after showing your valid MA license to the supervisor, you can ride. ✅
Once your license is verified by an admin on Entryplace, there will be no need to show the supervisor your license when you sign on at the club. Your status will display the following. 🎯

1. Where can I get a Motorcycling Australia license?
You can apply directly through Motorcycling Australia. Once issued, add the details here so the club can verify them.
2. Which Motorcycling Australia license do I need?
Only riders need a license. Spectators don’t.
Riders aged 4 and 5 years
Our youngest riders are only eligible for a Recreational License. They should take part in our free JETS training to prepare them for Kickstart eligibility and their first Competition license when they turn 6 years old.
Recreational Riders
If you only want to ride at the club grounds, then a Recreational license ($157) is all you need. If you want to join the community of riders who ride at events and properties around Victoria, this license will allow you to do that, but you won’t be eligible for scoring or receive a trophy.
Competition Riders
If you want to compete locally in Victoria or at interstate or national level, this is where your age comes into play. As a 16 year or older rider the license you want is the Senior Restricted License ($228). As a 6–15-year-old you want the Junior Restricted License ($149) but you will need to complete the Kickstart program to be eligible.
Both the Senior Restricted License and Junior Restricted License allow you to be eligible for scoring or receive a trophy and to compete at the Australian Trials Championships.
3. Why do I now need a Motorcycling Australia license?
From 30 June 2026 the club is transitioning its insurance to an Annual Motorcycling Australia Trials Permit. A verified MA license is how we confirm each rider is covered. You can read the full details on the club licensing page.
4. I have my MA license; how do I add or update my license details so I can ride?
Tap View next to your name above, then enter your ridernet number and date of birth. Our club secretary Chris Grubb will use these details to look you up in Ridernet and manually verify that your license is valid and still current.
5. Do spectators need a Motorcycling Australia license?
People who are spectating only do not need an MA license. They need to check in on arrival as usual though.
6. I want to invite somebody (that doesn’t live at my address)
If you invite friends or extended family, they need their own one day membership. If they are spectating, their one event membership is free. If they are riding, they need a one event membership $20/family or $20/individual as well as an annual or one day MA License. One event licenses can be purchased from a supervisor.
Please help the supervisors to make this as easy as possible, if you aren`t ready to ride, please be accepting of their position and request some help to get set up – we are always happy to help.

CLUB TRIAL, 5TH JULY – RESCHEDULED
There has been a lot going on at the club recently, two trials, a working bee and a lot of training for the new officials.
We have decided to reschedule the third club trial to Sunday 2nd August.
More to follow on this later, the club calendar will be updated to reflect these changes.

Round 2 – Victorian Trials Series
The weather held up and the club hosted a successful second round of the VTS. Thanks to all the riders that made the trip, it was wonderful to see the club buzzing, the engines fired up and smiles all round 😊
